Besondere Bekanntheit erreichten seine oft kopierten "Hamilton King Girls", die u.a. für Coca Cola und Zigaretten warben oder auf zahlreichen Magazinen abgebildet waren. Seit 1965 wird der Hamilton King Preis von der Society of Illustrators verliehen.
