Manchester,
England,
where
he
studied
at
the
Medical
School
of
Owen’s
College
(from
1903
the
Victoria
University
of
Manchester)
from
1901
to
1905.
He
then
moved
to
London
where
he
briefly
attended
the
Chelsea
School
of
Art
and
the
Rossetti
Studios
in
Flood
Street,
studying
painting
under
William
Orpen
and
Augustus
John;
he
supplemented
his
