Biography
(b Tiraspol, Moldova, June 3, 1881; d Fontenay-aux-Roses nr Paris, May 10, 1964) Russian painter. Larionov was one of the leaders of the Russian Avant-garde, a founder of the abstract movement Rayonism and a leader of the group Jack of Diamonds. Whilst a student at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, Larionov attended Konstantin Korovin's classes.
