Condition Report: Condition:GoodTo the unaided eye, this piece appears to be in good condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals scattered pin head sized spots of inpainting in the upper right hand corner, as well as one 1/4 inch spot of inpainting located about 7 inches from the top and 8 inches from the right side of the piece. The upper corners of the canvas, particularly the left-hand corner, are slightly warped. There is also a faint craquelure throughout the surface of the piece, though it has not resulted in any cupping. The piece is framed in an ornate silver frame with a silver liner. The frame is in fair condition, with pieces of moulding broken off the bottom edge as well as separation in the corners. Plate: "Tower Ruins", Thomas Moran, 1837-1926.
