Schreyer 55.79,5 x 106,5 cm.Provenienz:- Privatsammlung, Deutschland.- Europäischer Privatbesitz. Dr. Christoph Andreas bestätigt die Eigenhändigkeit dieses Gemäldes anhand einer Fotografie, wofür wir ihm danken und bezeichnet es als ein charakteristisches Beispiel für das Frühwerk von Adolf Schreyer. Wahrscheinlich handelt es sich hierbei um dasjenige Gemälde, welches im Boetticher mit dem Titel 'Türkischer Vorposten' aufgeführt ist (siehe Boetticher, Friedrich von: Malerwerke des Neunzehnten Jahrhunderts, Minden 1974, Bd. II, S.653, Nr. 7.). Dieses war 1858 in München im alten Glaspalast in der Ausstellung 'Allgemeine und historische Kunstaustellung' als Nr. 412 zu sehen. SCHREYER, ADOLF(Frankfurt a.
