Chuck Webster Biography
New York resident Chuck Webster paints brightly-colored, geometric and biomorphic forms on a variety of two-dimensional surfaces. He studied at the American University, Chautauqua School of Art, and Oberlin College before having his works displayed in the Chelsea district in New York and collected in museums across the United States including the MFA Houston and The Whitney Museum of American Art. In a continuously evolving style, Webster renders images of a solitary and loosely symmetrical mass, often praised as powerful, comedic, and vaguely dangerous.
