Sale Notes:

Day One includes Fine Art by Andrew Wyeth, Jack Gray, Derek Gardiner, Paul Serusier, James Audubon, and Charles Eaton. 16 exciting Bronze Animal Sculptures from the collection of Big Game hunter and outdoorsman Dr. Lloyd Miller, along with an exquisite wax bust highlight the Sculpture group. The finest collection of 18th c. & 19th c. European Porcelain and Early Chinese Porcelain we have ever offered comes from the NYC apartment of a prominent collector, over 160 lots in all. Ralph Waldo Emerson's personal copy of his poem "The Concord Hymn", an autographed musical manuscript by Franz Liszt in his hand, the scientific correspondence of meteorologist Abbot Lawrence Rotch, plus numerous Civil War and Native American documents and photographs just begin to describe the important Ephemera section. American and European fine furniture include an Adams family Queen Anne Highboy, New Hampshire Sheraton Secretary, 19th c. Irish Davenport desk plus, dining tables, cupboards, chair sets and upholstered furniture.
