Lot 1: Gilt wood sconce with eagle
double sconce with lion's head boss above curved acanthus leaf, 18th or 19th century, 27 x 19-1/2 in. Traces of original gilt decoration, repairs to both wings, scattered surface losses, separations, restorations.
Lot 2: Painted tin tea box
extensive geometric and floral painted decoration, slant-front lid, plate at hinge marked "J Hall Rohrman & Son, 600 Cherry St. Philada.," 14 x 10 x 12 in. Old surface with minor chips and losses, scattered light rust.
Lot 3: Brass oval coal hod
lift-out liner, top with openwork and beaded borders, oval loop side handles, English, late 19th or early 20th century, 12 x 16 x 12 in.
Lot 4: Bronze doré chinoiserie ink stand
bronze doré frame with shield at top, porcelain tray, 7-3/4 x 8-1/2 x 5 in. Frame bent, inkwells and lids with some abrasions, possibly lacking implements.
Lot 5: Mahogany stand
two dovetailed drawers, tapered and turned legs with turnip feet, platform-stretcher base, pencil inscription on base "Jan 1906 Rep. & refinished by Louis Lavoner(?) Oswego NY," secondary woods white pine and poplar, 28 x 22 x 16 in. Replaced brass p [...more]
