12/02/09 : Antiques Roadshow Discovery to be auctioned. A rare Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre vase featured on a recent edition of The Antiques Roadshow is to be auctioned on 12th March 2009. The vase stands an impressive 42.5cm in height (almost 17 inches) and is unusually decorated in a variation of the Lahore pattern with moose and giraffes, designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones. It was valued by The Antiques Roadshow experts at £6000-8000 and it carries a pre-sale estimate of £3000-5000. The vase will be sold as part of an auction of Antiques & Collectors' Items with Northern & Contemporary Art on 12th March 2009.
