    With two thriving primary locations in New York and Hong Kong, Gianguan Auctions has proudly catered to a cosmopolitan audience of both seasoned and new collectors for over a decade. Hosting four annual auctions at the historic Lefcourt Building on Madison Avenue in New York, Gianguan Auctions features fine selections of Chinese and Asian works of art, often boasting significant collections of traditional paintings and calligraphy, in addition to porcelain, jade, and bronze highlights, and more, dating from the Song Dynasty to contemporary periods. To date, the auction house has partnered with for 25 auctions, with each auction displaying over 300 lots of noteworthy Chinese and Asian Art.

    Gianguan Auctions has achieved many notable sales and records, including that of Wu Changshuo’s “Ju Shi,” which realized $370,000; Shi Tao’s “Shi Shu Hua San Jue,” which brought in $3,946,000; Zheng He’s calligraphy of Buddhist sutra, which sold for $14 million; and H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III’s “Ink Lotus,” which garnered $16.5 million (at $1.65 million per square foot) at auction.

Additionally, pre-sale viewings are open to the public in New York, prior to each auction, and catalogues are available for purchase or online perusal before each auction in question.
