  We are a family run business based in South Manchester who have a keen interest in collecting all the types of goods that we auction. Our knowledge, together with our personable and professional service will ensure that whether buying or selling, you will not be disappointed.
  
  Our aim is to offer you an excellent service at a competitive cost. Our commission rates for those wishing to sell goods are only 18% and are negotiable for higher value items or large collections.
  
  The commission that you pay will go towards ensuring that your goods are marketed to buyers and collectors both across the UK and worldwide. We recognise that to ensure you get the best price for your items, the right people need to be informed at the right time and this is reflected in our comprehensive marketing campaigns in which we target specialist magazines, websites, local press, relevant events and direct email marketing to potential buyers to inform them of forthcoming sales. Prospective buyers will be able to view our catalogue via our website omegaauctions.co.uk and also via auction catalogue sites such as invaluable.com, artfact.com, & auctionzip.com.
  
  For those customers who have never sold goods at auction before, we provide a completely stress free way to ensure that you get the best price possible for your goods. Simply bring them along to our office or one of our UK collection days (in some case we may be able to collect them from you) and leave the hard work to us. We will value your items, catalogue them, advertise and sell them and collect the money once sold. All you have to do is let us know if there is a minimum price you would like them to reach before selling (we will advise if realistic or not). Payments are now also made via bank transfer to save having to go to the bank!
  
  For buyers, we offer a flexible service with a multitude of ways to bid at auction including live online bidding, telephone bids, commission bids or in the traditional way in person on the day of the sale. Our standard buyer’s premium is only 18%.
