  From its foundation, the Rossini auction house has been located in the very heart of Paris fine arts trade auction dealer district. Rossini organizes more than sixty sales every year. The auctions are conducted in its own auction room or at the Hotel Drouot facing it.
  
  Rossini gives priority to specialized sales: modern paintings , drawings and sculptures, gems and jewellery, Silver, objects of vertu, costumes, textiles and accessories, stamp collections and postcards, books and manuscripts, coins and medals, tribal art, and, naturally, furniture and Decorative arts. Because of our vast collection more than 40 catalogues are printed out every year and a calendar of our upcoming sales is available from our website or at our offices, located 7 rue Douot, Paris 9th district.
  
  
  Luminous, spacious and easy to pace in, our salesroom, located at 7 rue Rossini, Paris 9th, enables an effective way to promote the goods we are entrusted to and our facilities offer perfect logistics responding to the needs of national and international buyers. Rossini thus has the abilities to accompany their clients’ objects in a safe and trustable manner, ensuring the tracking of items from their deposit to their final remittance.
  
  Our team, made up of auctioneers, experimented colleagues and specialists are available upon request everyday to the public to realize free multi category estimates for sale, insurance, taxation, appraisals, inventories or other purposes (insurance, division, inheritance, etc.). Estimates can be made in our offices, open every day from 9:30AM to 6PM, or via Internet.
  
  Finally, the Rossini auction house is the first in the “lle de France”, and the second nationally to be ISO 9001 certified. This certification is a guarantee of quality and trust for our clients and partners.

  Auctions
  Because of the competition it emulates within buyers, auctions are the safest and most reliable way to get the best price of a good, be it on the national or international market. Our appraisals are free of charge and confidential. They may be conducted at our valuation desk open every day from 9:30AM to 6PM, from our website or at your place of residence by appointment.
  
  Division
  Only an inventory conducted by a certified auctioneer leads to a fair and indisputable division within the different parties. Our fees range from 1 to 2% (excl. tax) of the total appraisal amount, depending on the procedure. In case the sales takes place within the six months following the appraisal, this amount will be returned to you.
  
  Inheritance
  Within the framework of an inheritance, the appraisal of the real amount of your chattels allows you to avoid the 5% fee applied by the French IRS in such circumstances (Clause 764 of the general French IRS code). The combined work of our auctioneer and your notary public will allow you to cut your death taxes to their real value. This service is charged 380€ (excl. tax).
  
  Tax: For tax declaration and tax purposes, it is highly recommended you provide authoritative valuations for chattels, fine and applied arts through to the collecting categories. Rossini has recognised the importance of offering tax related advice to clients on the increasingly complex tax and reporting regulations affecting assets and heritage property.Rossini Valuations Department provides any tax related valuations of chattels that may be required, including tax planning and for inheritance tax purposes.
  
  Insurance Appraisals**
  Preliminary or post disaster appraisal. In case of a disaster - robbery, water damage or fire - insurance companies will require you to justify the existence and the value of the damaged goods. Producing the evidence is the charge of the insured party (Clause 1315 of the Civil Code). Pictures are no more sufficient.
  
  Rossini is empowered to provide authoritative Insurance valuations of the highest standard for fine and applied arts, through to the collecting categories.. This service may be conducted at your place of residence. This appraisal will enable your insurance agent to suggest you the guarantees that best fit your patrimony. In case of a disaster, it will enable you to meet your insurance company requirements as to be compensated properly.
