Established in 1782 in a coffee shop in North Street, Bishops Stortford by local auctioneer Peter Ramsey, Sworders has become one of the country's most respected regional auction rooms, with an international clientele, serving customers from the East of England, North London and beyond.
  
  We hold a valuation morning every Friday at our Sudbury office from 10.00am till 1.00pm where our respected specialists and valuers are available to offer the highest levels of professional advice on all aspects relating to the sale, valuation and care of antiques and Fine Art. In addition, we can provide professional valuations for the purpose of insurance, inheritance tax (probate) and family division.
