    Established in 1988, Vectis is the world's largest toy auctioneer with two locations in England, and serving customers in more than 60 countries. The auction house offers more than 50 auctions per year, and in 2014, hosted 60 live online auctions as a platinum auction house on Invaluable.com.


    Vectis Auctions often achieves world record high prices for toy lots including a Dinky pre-war box of delivery vans for £34,000. It has also sold iconic pop culture items, such as the rare Monty Python foot for £16,800, a set of 12 1997 Star Wars figures for £10,000, and a rare Star Wars medical droid collectible for £7,000.


    The auction house specializes in all genres of collectable toys, particularly rare and antique toys and collectibles. Categories include trains, dolls, diecast, and general toys including games and comics. Buyers often seek out Vectis for Corgi, Matchbox, Steiff, Star Wars, and Marklin collectibles.


    Services & Staff

    Vectis Auctions offers a comprehensive service for owners of collectibles, whether you're selling a single item or a large collection. Most collectors start by sending Vectis a list of their collection for an estimated valuation.


    The auction house offers approximately five auctions per month with 700 lots per auction day. Buyers with Vectis Auctions can visit the auction house on auction dates, or at a number of toy fairs offered throughout the year. Bids are accepted in person, or via absentee, phone, or Invaluable.com's live online bidding.


    The Hambleton Group purchased Vectis Auctions in 1996, and since 1997, has sold more than £75,000,000 worth of toys. The auction house has has 33 staff members, including eight dedicated toy specialists with an extensive knowledge of toys.
