Description: 14KT White Gold 0.76ct Tanzanite and Diamond Ring A9794. New Condition! EX407NF. One electronically tested 14KT white gold ladies cast tanzanite and diamond ring with a bright polish finish. Condition is new, good workmanship. The featured tanzanite is set within a diamond bezel supported by diamond set shoulders, completed by a two and one-half millimeter wide band. Identified with markings of "K14". Containing: One prong set round brilliant cut natural tanzanite, measuring 5.40 - 5.35 x 3.55 mm, 10%. bulge factor, approximate weight of 0.76ct., clarity is eye clean, type I, medium dark, moderately strong, violetish blue color, (GIA vB 6/4), cut is good. Transmitting light with no distortion, transparent. Graded in the setting. Tanzanite is a very rare gemstone that is only found in the country of Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967. Tiffany & Company, named the stone Tanzanite. It is found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Tanzanite occurs in gray, brown, violet, blue, reddish-purple, & green. The gem is interesting because of its exceptional pleochroism. Rotated in different directions a tanzanite will exhibit multiple changes of color. Tanzanite has a low tolerance to ultrasonic cleaning, and should not be cleaned using this method. Twelve prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 2.10 - 2.00. x 1.23mm (depth est.) approximate. Total Weight of 12 Stones = 0.47ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: SI-1 to I-1 . Color: G - I Six prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.50 - 1.40 x 0.87mm (depth est.) approximate. Total Weight of 6 Stones = 0.10ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: SI-1 to I-1 . Color: G - I. Total Weight of Colored Stones 0.76ct.. Total Weight of Diamonds 0.57ct.. Total Weight of Ring 4.42gm. AIG Appraised at $3,845.00..
