Description: 14KT White Gold 13.28ct Tanzanite & Diamond Ring RM1200. New Condition! VS1054DX. One electronically tested 14KT gold ladies cast tanzanite and diamond ring with a bright polish finish. Condition is new, good workmanship. The featured tanzanite is set within a diamond bezel, completed by a two millimeter wide band. Identified with markings of "K14". Containing: One prong set rectangular cushion mixed cut natural tanzanite, measuring 13.80 x 11.20 x 8.70mm, 8% bulge factor, approximate weight of 13.28ct., clarity is eye clean, type I, medium, very slightly grayish, bluish violet color, (GIA bV 5/3), cut is good. Transmitting light with no distortion, transparent. Colored Stone Grading Report attached. Graded in the setting. Tanzanite is a very rare gemstone that is only found in the country of Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967. Tiffany & Company, name the stone Tanzanite. It is fund in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of Northern Tanzania. Tanzanite occurs in gray brown, violet, blue, reddish-purple & green. The gem is interesting because of it exceptional pleochroism. Rotated in differently directions a tanzanite will exhibit multiple changes of color. Tanzanite has a low tolerance to ultrasonic cleaning, and should not be cleaned using this method. Twenty-two prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 2.50 - 2.40 x 1.47mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 22 Stones = 1.14ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity SI-2 to I-2, Color F-H. Total weight of colored stones 13.28ct. Total weight of diamonds 1.14ct. Total weight of ring 9.40gm. AIG Appraised at $36,325.00.
