Description: MASSACHUSETTS, 1701 A 1701 Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts land deed. A deed for fifty acres of land sold by Joseph Wood of Dartmouth, Bristol County, New England, for “a sum of fifteen pounds current silver money” sold to Ebenezer Tripp of Dartmouth. The transaction of the land is bounded by assistant deputy Benjamin Hall. Signed on the “twentieth day of this ninth month called November, 1701”. Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of John Albro and John Anthony. The deed still retains its original red wax seal.
