Rarity-6 (according to Anderson), Partially-Printed Document, measures 5.75" x 3.5", typical hole cancel near center, otherwise used, circulated, endorsed upon the verso and has nice margins for appearance. Issued for, "Thirty pounds Six Shillings and Nine pence... according to the act of assembly to settle and adjust the accounts of the troops of this state in the service of the United States..." Normal margins at top and bottom, normal, wavy indenture at left, and a huge, jumbo margin at right. Dated "1783" on reverse. Issued to John Forsythe who endorses his payments upon the reverse, creating some show-through. A rare Revolutionary War Maryland 6% Soldiers Bond.
