An outstanding quality, original Broadside Printed Act of Congress, measuring 7.5" x 11.25", 2 pages (1 page front and back), being an official Congressional Act titled, "An Act Providing Compensations for the Officers of the Judicial Courts of the United States, and for Jurors and Witnesses, and for other Purposes." Signed In Print on its reverse second page: "Approved, March the third, 1791. GEORGE WASHINGTON, President of the United States." Also Signed In Print by Frederick Augustus Muhlenberg and John Adams as Vice-President. This historic Act provides for compensation to court officers, jurors, and witnesses for court attendance, miles traveled to court, and other contingencies. Extremely Rare.
