Description: Artist: PAUL COLIN (1892-1986) Size: 45 x 61 1/4 in./114.4 x 155.5 cm Imp. Bedos, Paris Three years after his excellent design for the 1946 event (see PAI-XXVII, 74), Colin conceived another brilliant work for the 18th Parisian International Air Show. Anticipating both the passenger-jet revolution and the Space Age, as World War II receded into the past, Colin placed a jet orbiting the sun-drenched Earth through a break in the clouds. This is the rare, large format version of the poster. (aviation)
