JACK LONDON (1876-1916). Famous American Author, some of his most famous works include, The Call of the Wild, and White Fang, both set in the Klondike Gold Rush, as well as the short stories "To Build a Fire".
August 14, 1906-Dated, Partially-Printed Document Check Signed, "Jack London," 1 page, 6.5" x 3", Choice Extremely Fine. Being a personal check both Engrossed and Signed by London, drawn on Central Bank of Oakland, Cal., made payable to "Ship's Clock Co." in the amount of $10. Small trivial tear with slight paper loss in center of check, well away from London's bold, dark signature. Interesting being shortly prior to the great San Francisco earthquake of 1907 and just a few months prior to his death, November 22, 1916 (aged 40).
