- Quality restoration, in beautiful condition
- A mythical model
- Spacious, comfortable and powerful convertible

Just because Chevrolet was the most popular brand of General Motors that it ever got neglected, and this in the mid-1950s, it enjoyed a revival to bring back a more youthful and dynamic image to the brand. The Bel Air, which took its name from one of the most prominent neighborhoods of Los Angeles, received the panoramic windscreen then very popular other side of the Atlantic, and car was distinguished by a large rectangular mesh grille, which was quite sober. The mechanicals was also completely new, and the design was by Ed Cole, the V8 specialist, who had already developed the V8 block for Cadillac. The construction of the car was relatively traditional, with a frame on which was bolted a steel hull made by Fisher, all of which guaranteed strength and durability. The rejuvenated Bel Air of course came with an aggressive slogan! "New look, new engine, new everything." There were several body variants (including the famous two-door Nomad station wagon) and a wide range of brilliant colours, often in two-tone, symbolizing the joy of living. From 1955 to 1957, the car kept evolving, before being replaced eventually.
The car that we offer is the last version of the trilogy, the '55, the '56 and the ' 57, the one particularly appreciated by the fans. Advertising slogans presented the car with a "peaceful mood that hides a fiery self", reflecting the blend of comfort and power that characterized this Bel Air. It is with the desirable cabriolet body style, which has been fully restored in the United States and is in a very good condition. A turquoise blue in colour, with white top, it features matching upholstery, two-tone turquoise and white, which is both gay and very attractive. Large chrome grille caps, the headlamps, the chrome rear fender panels and thee sharp fins brings this car a touch of luxury while the dashboard, the same color as the body, completes the atmosphere of lightness and carelessness within the car. The car features an automatic transmission and a radio, while some details, like the glove box cover that is designed to accommodate cups, show the care given to the finish.
With two large benches, this car can take family and friends for a pleasant cruise, cajoling the passengers in the rhythm of its powerful V8 and the opulent charm of America of the 1950s.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CAR IS SOLD WITHOUT TECHNICAL INSPECTION
