Ce cabriolet Corvette est équipé du moteur V8 de 283 ci (4 637 cm3) développant 283 ch, accolé à une boîte de vitesses automatique. Le propriétaire actuel a mené à bien une restauration particulièrement soignée. La carrosserie a été remise en état par la Carrosserie Vitteta, à Valauris, et le dossier comporte un CD ainsi qu'un dossier de photos très instructif montrant les différentes phases des travaux effectués. La restauration mécanique a été confiée au garage Ferbec, à Mandelieu, établissement bien connu pour ce type de véhicule.
De teinte rouge avec capote blanche, cette voiture présente un habitacle impeccable doté de sièges en skaï rouge en bel état, avec sa planche de bord très complète, en tôle peinte deux tons rouge et blanc, et équipé d'un autoradio d'époque. Le grand volant à trois branches ajourées comporte une jante rouge assortie au reste de la voiture. Avec ses pneus à flancs blancs, cette Corvette représente un morceau du rêve américain d'après-guerre. Son V8 puissant, sa ligne sportive et fluide, sa finition teintée de luxe et d'exotisme, tout cela contribue au plaisir que ne manquera pas d'apporter cette voiture à son nouvel utilisateur, cheveux au vent et sourire aux lèvres.

This Corvette cabriolet is fitted with a V8 283 ci (4,637cc) engine producing 283 bhp, mated to an automatic gearbox. The current owner, has overseen a very thorough restoration. The coachwork was restored by the Carrosserie Vitteta, in Valauris, and the file contains a CD and a collection of detailed photographs documenting the different stages of the work. The mechanical restoration was entrusted to the Ferbec garage in Mandelieu, renowned for work on for this type of vehicle.
Presented in red with white hood, this car displays an impeccable interior with beautifully presented red leatherette seats and red and white painted metallic dashboard equipped with period radio. The large steering wheel, 3 spoke with holes, has a red rim matching the rest of the car. Complete with white wall tyres, this Corvette represents a part of the post-war American dream. The powerful V8 engine, the sporty styling and exotic luxury finish all contribute to the pleasure this car will bring its new owner when driving with the wind in their hair and a smile on their lips.

Please note that contrary to what is written in the catalog, the car isn't equiped with a 283 HP engine.

Only the authenticity of the vehicle is guaranteed, taking into consideration the possible reservations made the description.
The vehicles are sold in their current condition. The information in the catalogue is not binding. Indeed, the condition of a car may vary between the time of its description in the catalogue and the time of its presentation at the sale. The exhibition taking place for several days prior to the sale and allowing awareness of the condition of the vehicles, no complaint will be accepted once the sale by auction is pronounced.
For administrative reasons, the designations of the vehicles use the information given on the official vehicle registration documentation.
Considering the possible evolution of the condition of the cars, as stated under b), it is specified that the price ranges are given strictly for informational purposes and on a provisional basis. Now, the estimations will be put out at the beginning of the exhibition and if need be, corrected publicly at the time of the sale and recorded in the minutes thereof.
The bidders are deemed to have read the documentation relating to each vehicle, notably the technical inspections which are available at the auction sales company. However, some vehicles may be sold without having been submitted to the examination of technical inspection because of their age, of their non-circulating condition or of their competition aspect. The public will have to inquire about it at the time of the preview and sale.
The vehicles indentified by an ¤ have been consigned by owners from outside the EEC. The buyers will have to pay a VAT of 5.5% in addition to the hammer price, for which buyers from outside the EEC will be able to be reimbursed on presentation of export documentation within a time limit of one month after the sale, failing which it will not be possible to obtain reimbursement of such VAT.

The buyer has the burden and the exclusive responsibility for the change of registration of vehicles, notably within the time limit set forth by law.
The removal of vehicles must absolutely take place on the day after the auction sale, at the latest. Beyond this time limit, they will bestored at the costs and risks of their owner.
