Grâce à la fiche de sortie d''usine, nous savons que cette voiture a été commandée par le Garage Mirabeau, importateur officiel de la marque basé à Paris, pour son premier propriétaire Me François Pieroni, demeurant à Toulon, dans le Var. Elle comportait quelques options comme un différentiel autobloquant, un autoradio avec antenne électrique, des jantes chromées avec papillons à trois oreilles et une lunette arrière chauffante. Elle était alors de teinte "charcoal grey", avec une sellerie en cuir Connolly noir. Son histoire apparaît ensuite dans un carnet qui en retrace les détails et qui, affichant toutes les interventions, a été soigneusement transmis d''un propriétaire à l''autre. On y constate ainsi que la première opération de vidange/graissage a eu lieu le 12 avril 1966. Le premier propriétaire ne s''est séparé de la voiture qu''en 1980, après avoir procédé en 1979 à une remise en état partielle du moteur avec remplacement de soupapes, de la distribution, et des joints notamment.
La belle Aston changeait alors de lieu de résidence pour rejoindre Créteil. En 1982, sa sellerie cuir avait droit à une réfection, puis elle passait en 1988 en Seine-et-Oise. Cette même année, elle recevait une peinture neuve et adoptait une teinte vert foncé. En 1989, elle était acquise par l''actuel propriétaire qui la confiait à l''atelier du spécialiste réputé Pierre Lamy pour les opérations d''entretien.
Assez peu utilisée, elle faisait l''objet en 1999 d''une grande révision chez Pierre Lamy. Les travaux très complets concernaient une réfection des freins et du train avant (pivots et rotules compris), une révision mécanique, un remplacement des amortisseurs arrière et de l''embrayage (disque, mécanisme et butée), ainsi que le remplacement des cinq pneus par des Michelin neufs. A cette époque, le compteur kilométrique affichait 77 173 km; il en montre aujourd''hui 78 736, ce qui souligne une utilisation extrêmement parcimonieuse. Arrêtée pendant plusieurs années, elle a été remise en route en décembre 2016 chez RS Sport.
Avec une très belle patine, cette voiture a l''avantage d''être d''origine française, avec un nombre de propriétaires relativement limité et un historique suivi et très documenté, faisant état d''un entretien régulier par des ateliers compétents.
Conduite à gauche et matching numbers, le présent exemplaire n''en est que d''autant plus désirable.

The factory build sheet shows that this car was ordered by the Garage Mirabeau, the official marque importer based in Paris, for the first owner, François Pieroni from Toulon in South of France. It came with several options including limited-slip differential, radio with electric aerial, chrome wheels with three-eared spinners, and heated rear windscreen. It was originally presented in charcoal grey with black Connolly leather interior. The history of the car is documented in a booklet, recording all details and activity, and this has been passed on diligently from owner to owner. It shows that the first oil change and lubrication took place on 12 April 1966.
