Felton Jarvis was Elvis' producer from 1966 to 1977, and in 1970 started working exclusively for Elvis doing his studio and live concert recordings. The offered three-page plan for the "Elvis Presley Show" at the International Hotel in Las Vegas in 1969 was typed by Felton Jarvis as dictated by Elvis. The first page is titled "Elvis Presley Show - International Hotel / Elvis Presley Portion of Show - Entrance and Close" and states in all caps:
Upon completion of Sammy Shore Act he bows off to house band music. Music continues - curtain closes - house band is rolled back - though music continues - behind closed curtains Elvis musician's platform rolled on to stage with amplified instruments plugged in and already warmed up - piano moved in and sing groups following immediately after platform positioning - during this time house band continues with music until Elvis' entire group is in position then.....
Into house band introduction of Blue Suede Shoes and Elvis will either be in position in front of his group before the curtain opens - or - he may start song off stage and walk on performing song using traveling mike.
Closing song by Elvis ended with final gesture - upon which all lights down - band silent - and for about five seconds or whatever time needed for Elvis to exit stage - - - - these alldone [sic] with dramatic abruptness - - then lights up - band hits closing chord - curtain closes - the end.
