More About this Item

German title Chassis n° 13339 - Sold new in France by Pozzi - Superb original black leather interior - Clear history A genuine four-seater, elegantly styled and with the performance one expects from a car wearing the Prancing Horse badge, it is no surprise that this model gained legendary status, and retains it today. This 365 GT was delivered new on 28 September 1970, presented in grey with black leather interior, by the French importer for the marque, Charles Pozzi SA, to its first owner, Richard Le Droff from Yerres, near Paris. He had the car maintained at Pozzi (invoices available) and kept it until 1984, the date it was registered in the name of a garage in Nice. The following year the Ferrari returned to Paris and stayed there until acquired by a German enthusiast from Karlsruhe in 2001. In 2010 the car was bought by the current owner, the daughter of a gentleman collector well known to the auction house. She has driven the car regularly, taking part in rallies with friends. In 2014 she drove the car to the Concours d''Elegance de Chantilly. Regularly maintained, this pretty 365 still has its original black leather interior, adding extra cachet. The condition of this example is highly desirable, being unrestored, in good mechanical condition and ready to treat its four passengers to the intoxicating sound of its 12 cylinders.
