Description:

This framed RIAA Certified Gold Sales Award was "Presented to RCA Records to commemorate the sale of more than 500,000 copies of the RCA Records Long-Playing Record Album 'Elvis As Recorded At Madison Square Garden'" by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). This album was a live recording of Elvis' concert at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, June 10, 1972, and was released just a week after the performance, Elvis' first in NYC since the 1950s. The album was certified gold in August of 1972. This framed display features a gold-colored record above a gold-colored plaque, both mounted against a black backing with gold-colored wood frame, indicating a mid-to-late-1970s issuance of the award. The framed award measures 21 by 17 inches (53.34 x 43.18 cm) and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

Condition Report: The award is in overall excellent condition with only minor wear to the frame.
