La voiture proposée est une Peugeot 205 T16 dite série 200, car fabriquée en version route à 200 unités afin d''obtenir l''homologation en Groupe B. Il s''agit du 12ème exemplaire de la série, mis en circulation le 24 janvier 1985. Son histoire est assez bien retracée. Son premier propriétaire, M. Leandri l''engagea au Tour de Corse en 1985, puis la même année au Rallye du Maquis. Elle n''aurait ensuite connu que quatre propriétaires. La voiture s''illustra aussi aux mains du pilote Antonio Zanini qui l''engagea dans quelques rallyes à la fin des années 1980. C''est probablement à cette époque que la voiture fut équipée d''un arceau boulonné en aluminium et d''un coupe circuit. Son actuel propriétaire en fit l''acquisition en 2004. Il décida de la faire peindre aux couleurs " PTS " qu''elle arbore encore, n''étant déjà plus à cette époque dans son gris d''origine. Une expertise réalisée en 2009 à la suite d''importants travaux mécaniques détaille la réfection moteur d''un montant de plus de 12 000 € et le bon état général de la voiture. La voiture a bénéficié aussi du remplacement des amortisseurs, du radiateur, de la pompe à essence, du turbo et de l''échappement. Elle n''a depuis parcouru que 2000 km et totalise aujourd''hui un peu plus de 43 000 km. Pour une voiture de compétition, sa patine d''usage est séduisante. Elle offre différentes opportunités à celui qui voudra courir ou au collectionneur désireux de la restaurer dans une configuration strictement d''origine. Elle sera livrée avec ses quatre jantes d''origine pour monte TRX et son collecteur 4 en 1 d''origine. The car we are offering is a Peugeot 205 T16 series 200, manufactured in its road version at just 200 units to get homologated in Group B. This is the 12th car of the series and was registered on January 24, 1985. Its history is fairly well traced. Its first owner, Mr. Leandri, raced it at the Tour de Corse in 1985, and the same year the Rallye du Maquis. Since then it has had only four owners. The car was also raced by rally driver Antonio Zanini who used it in some rallies in the late 1980s. It was probably at this time that the car was equipped with a bolted roll cage and a circuit breaker switch. Its current owner acquired the car in 2004. He decided to have it painted in the colors "PTS" that it still sports; by then the car was not in its original grey any more. An expertise carried out in 2009 following extensive mechanical work details an engine repair and overhaul worth more than € 12,000, as well as the good general condition of the car. The car also benefited from the replacement of the shock absorbers, the radiator, the fuel pump, the turbo and the exhaust. It has covered only 2000 km since then and total mileage of the car is a little over 43,000 km. For a competition car, its patina of will seduce a true enthusiast.
