"Vous pouvez rougir de honte, verdir de rage, mais c'est à une Clio que Frank Williams a donné son nom", tel était le slogan publicitaire de la Clio Williams lors de son lancement. Digne héritière de la Renault 5 GT Turbo, elle est équipée du moteur 2L 16 soupapes qui développe 150cv, tandis que de nombreux détails visuels la distinguent des autres versions.
L'exemplaire que nous présentons est exceptionnel : en effet, il affiche 31 248 km d'origine et s'avère être dans un état de conservation proche du neuf. La carrosserie est en parfait état et comporte tous les détails spécifiques à la Williams : badges, marquages, jantes… L'intérieur est dans un état tout aussi irréprochable, même les tapis de protection semblent neufs ! Le tableau de bord arbore une plaque qui indique qu'il s'agit de l'exemplaire n°7118. Elle est accompagnée de ses carnets, ainsi que des brochures publicitaires d'époque et de la fiche d'identification Renault. La distribution a été remplacée en 2013 et en 2016, une vidange des fluides a été effectuée. Les exemplaires en bel état et authentiques sont devenus très recherchés, ceux affichant un tel kilométrage d'origine, presque impossibles à trouver.

"You could blush red, or go green with envy, but it is a Clio that Frank Williams gave his name to," was the slogan of the Clio Williams at its launch. A worthy successor to the Renault 5 GT Turbo, it was powered by a 2-litres 16-valve engine that developed 150bhp, while many visual details distinguished it from other versions.
The car on offer is exceptional: in fact, it shows just 31,248 km from new, and proves to be in an almost new state of conservation. The body is in perfect condition and includes all details specific to the Williams: badges, markings, rims... The interior is also in flawless condition, even the floor mats seem like new! The dashboard sports a plaque indicating that it is car number 7118. It comes with its manuals, as well as period brochures and the Renault identification sheet. The distribution was replaced in 2013 and in 2016, all fluids were changed. Authentic cars in beautiful condition became highly sought after, and those with such low mileage are almost impossible to find.

Only the authenticity of the vehicle is guaranteed, taking into consideration the possible reservations made the description.
The vehicles are sold in their current condition. The information in the catalogue is not binding. Indeed, the condition of a car may vary between the time of its description in the catalogue and the time of its presentation at the sale. The exhibition taking place for several days prior to the sale and allowing awareness of the condition of the vehicles, no complaint will be accepted once the sale by auction is pronounced.
For administrative reasons, the designations of the vehicles use the information given on the official vehicle registration documentation.
Considering the possible evolution of the condition of the cars, as stated under b), it is specified that the price ranges are given strictly for informational purposes and on a provisional basis. Now, the estimations will be put out at the beginning of the exhibition and if need be, corrected publicly at the time of the sale and recorded in the minutes thereof.
The bidders are deemed to have read the documentation relating to each vehicle, notably the technical inspections which are available at the auction sales company. However, some vehicles may be sold without having been submitted to the examination of technical inspection because of their age, of their non-circulating condition or of their competition aspect. The public will have to inquire about it at the time of the preview and sale.
The vehicles indentified by an ¤ have been consigned by owners from outside the EEC. The buyers will have to pay a VAT of 5.5% in addition to the hammer price, for which buyers from outside the EEC will be able to be reimbursed on presentation of export documentation within a time limit of one month after the sale, failing which it will not be possible to obtain reimbursement of such VAT.

The buyer has the burden and the exclusive responsibility for the change of registration of vehicles, notably within the time limit set forth by law.
The removal of vehicles must absolutely take place on the day after the auction sale, at the latest. Beyond this time limit, they will bestored at the costs and risks of their owner.
