More About this Item

Description: 1996 Solex Cyclone S3800 No reserve Sans titre de circulation Cadre n° 006891/96 - Neuf d''origine ! Without title Frame n° 006891/96 - Brand new! - In good working condition - No reserve After the MBK production line stopped, despite 42 years of loyal service, the Vélosolex was saved in 1993 by a Hungarian industrialist who relaunched production and marketed it under the brand name Cyclone, without modifying the concept that built up the reputation of this most unusual machine. The one on offer was sold new by the Velosolex agent of Boulevard Saint Michel, in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. Its first owner, an elderly person, got scared at the first drive and stored it, before selling it to the current owner a few years later, when it was still like new. Preserved with care, with no further use, it is today in a superb state of conservation and comes equipped with a pair of accessory bags and remains in good working order. A vintage advertisement used to claim: "Sooner or later, you will have a Velosolex"! Here is the perfect opportunity to prove that right!
