The painting depicts a man sitting in a chair with his arm resting on an adjacent table while he smokes a pipe.
The painting is oil on panel painting. The back has a tag that shows this painting was once sold be Forse, Ltd. on Bond Street in London. The frame is also very nice and adds to the beauty of the piece.
The size is 10 _ by 8 _ inches and the frame is 16 by 14 inches.
