Description: Group of three Palissy style majolica vases, comprising a cone form vase the exterior molded as tree bark with cattails, fern leaves, snails, and a snake, tapering to a knop and resting on a circular foot, unmarked, 12"h x 8.75"dia. Condition: minor chips to mass at knop, glaze loss under foot; together with a pair of urn form vases with high relief frogs at the shoulders, the bodies with foliage and snails on a puce and gray mottled ground, each resting on a circular foot and having a blue rim, unmarked. 7.25"h x 6.5"d. Condition: first - 1/4" chip to foot, 1/8"chip under foot; second - 1/4"chip to foot, two 1/16"chips under foot.
