Description: [Entertainment/Gone With The Wind] Over 45 photographs and ephemera related to Laura Hope Crews (1879-1942), who was best know as "Aunt Pitty-Pat" in the movie "Gone With The Wind." Includes: ++ Sepia photo signed and inscribed “To Ida, with love, Laura Hope Crews.” Photo’s image is by White in Boston, and a pencil notation on verso identifies the play as Merry Wives of Windsor. 7 x 5 in. Minor foxing. ++ Several albumen photographs showing Crews on stage or in costume during childhood. 5 are cabinet cards by photographers in San Francisco. Some very good with color change and light wear to mounts. Several more worn, 1 hand painted. ++ Over 30 others. Mostly gelatin silver prints, some from earlier photographs. Includes some printed illustrations. Varying condition, some have curling to edges, creasing, handling wear, a couple clipped. ++ Sold with all faults. Crews (1879-1942) played Aunt Pittypat Hamilton in “Gone with the Wind.”
