Description: 1st item: Isaac Lane Muse (New Jersey/France, 1906-1996) drawing of a cow rendered in sharp, black ink strokes against light wash on off white cardstock. The head and tail of another cow is on the back. Signed "Muse" bottom left. Bertha Schaffer Gallery, New York, NY, gallery label en verso. Card stock is partially secured with brown tape to a piece of brown cardboard, watermark on card stock top left corner. 12 1/4" H x 16 1/2" W. 2nd item: Isaac Lane Muse (New Jersey/France, 1906-1996) screen print on paper titled "Caves & Pinnacles". Depicts salmon, teal, yellow and brown abstract shapes. Signed "Muse" in print, bottom right. Bertha Shaffer Gallery, NY, gallery label en verso. 18" H x 24" W. 3rd item: Erle Loran (California/New York/France, 1905-1999) lithograph on paper titled "Formations", numbered 17/20, 1964. Depicts black and white abstract formations. Signed and dated "Erle Loran '64" in pencil, lower right under print. Bertha Schaffer Gallery, New York, NY, gallery label en verso. 15 3/4" H x 13" W. 4th-5th items: Black and white abstract lithographs on paper by an unknown artist, numbered M 8 2/10 and M 14 3/10, 1962. Both signed and dated "K. Lilkala 10/62", in pencil, lower right under print. Each approx. - 14 3/4" H x 14 3/4" W. Provenance: From the estate of Robert L. Zarbock. Condition Report: 1st item: Flaking on edges of card stock, area of water damage, lower right, few spots on surface of image. 2nd item: 4 1/2" tear, top center, 1/2" tear, bottom left, tape residue, top left and right. 3rd item: Toning around left and bottom edges of paper. Two minute foxing spots, bottom center edge of paper. Water spot, 1/2", center of right edge of paper. Bottom left and top right corners of paper bent. Few errant marks, black scuffs, residue from removed tape, toning, visible en verso. 4th-5th items: Toning around edges of papers. Water damage, along right edges of papers. Paper tears, largest 1/2", top edge of M 14 3/10. Water damage, visible en verso.
