History The Uncirculated Sets, or Mint Sets, contain specimens of coins that are typically minted for general circulation. Occasionally, however, it is only through the Uncirculated collections that a coin from a particular year can be obtained. This is due to the coin never reaching print for general circulation. Examples include the Sacagawea coin from 1981.
