Rex Scouten/ with deep appreciation and all good wishes from Richard Nixon.” Within matting: 9 1/8 x 7 1/4 in. Within frame: 11 1/2 x 9 1/2 in. Cprt “Arnold Newman” at lower left corner of photo’s image. Fading to right portion of inscription. ++ Patricia Nixon. Photograph signed/inscribed “To Rex and Dorothy Scouten/ with all best wishes/ Patricia Nixon.” Image: 10 1/4 x 8 5/8 in. Within frame: 10 1/2 x 8 3/4 in. ++ Porcelain Boehm Cygnet Bird of Peace inscribed on base "From President and Mrs. Nixon." ++ Small metal sign, probably distributed at the President’s Dinner Honoring Apollo 11 Astronauts August 13, 1969 (specified in lower portion of sign). Sign itself: 5 3/4 x 7 5/8 in. Within frame: 10 5/8 x 8 3/4 in. Sight condition near fine. Under glass. Not examined out of frame. ++ Pair of Richard Nixon Library and Birthplace highball glasses. ++Lucite plaque with image of Richard and Patricia Nixon with their grandchildren Jennie Eisenhower and Christopher Cox. Provenance: Rex Scouten collection of White House Americana. Scouten worked at the White House or as a Secret Service agent during 10 Presidencies (Truman to Clinton), including time as Chief Usher of the White House (1969-86) and White House Curator (1986-97).
