Description: A beautiful pair of flintlock pistols by Alberdi, dating: circa 1800 provenance: Spain Smooth, blued, two-stage, 17 mm cal. barrels with acanthus leaves on gilt ground at the girdle, octagonal at the first part with the golden marks "Alberdi" among lilies and "EN EIBAR D HERRADURAS", round at the second part with moulded muzzle with golden beads; elegant, steel, miquelet lock with chiselled hammer and safety lock; three-quarter wooden stocks with micro-checkered butts, steel mounts, trigger guard with golden mark "Alberti", belt hook, horn-tipped wooden ramrod.
