Overall measurements: 179cm the top, 185cm the bottom, 198cm along left hand side, 196cm along the right hand side Glossy wool, with good pile overall - generally 4/5mm overall with scattered areas of foundation exposed in the dark browns due to oxidisation for example to top section of the border. There is a replaced 'bite' to the right hand side of the border and selvedge measuring approx. 15cm. Scattered small repairs and re-piling, for example see the inner small border at the bottom of the rug and small holes. Original sidecords and flatwoven ends finishes, with some losses and small repairs. Grey is a faded purple, other colours are good, clear, bright dyes. White is in good condition. Lovely square size. Would benefit from a minor amount of conservation. A fun and lively piece.
