Description: A black and red wool day dress, possibly Jean Patou, 1935, with complex knotted tie to neck, the angular sleeves ruched and held by bands revealing red facings, bias seams to skirt, bust approx 86-92cm, 34-36in Patou produced a similar but long sleeved gown in 1935.
Condition Report: seam needs slightly re-stitching at one underarm approx 1cm, good condition
