Description: Buddha sitting in lotus position on a lotus blossom, bronze and coloured enamel, aureola attached at back, domed base, inscription at the bottom. Height 52 cm, weight 9.52 kg. The dharmachakra mudra is called the preacher's gesture, it is evocative of the first sermon at Sarnath, when Buddha explained the Four Noble Truths.
