Description: the panelled top above a pair of doors enclosing an architectural interior with various drawers, latticework panels and painted with script, the sides with carrying handles, losses
This attractive cabinet is in reasonable original condition. There are overall marks and scratches and some lifting to the lacquer with overall losses, most notably to two areas on the top panel and borders. The interior is in very good condition, with occasional marks and scratches, and some incipient lifting to the door panels, as visible from the catalogue photograph. Two drawers with part of handles missing. There were two further doors to the interior which have come loose but are sold with the cabinet and could be replaced with the help of a professional. The key escutcheon is tarnished with a secure lifting on the central strap.
