Description: A Chinese Qingbai cup and stand , Song Dynasty (960-1279) or later, delicately potted, the rounded cup and with hexagonal lobed rim, supported on splayed foot, the stand with central plinth for holding the tray of hexa-lobed form, the tray with broad splayed foot pierced with six ruyi panels, covered all over in a shadowy-blue glaze, the base of each part revealing the white body burnt with darker firing marks, the bowl 9.8cm diameter and the stand 13.8cm diameter an combined height of the cup and stand 8.3cm Provenance: The Peter Arlidge Collection, 1976-2014.
