Description: One side-by-side shotgun barrel and one side-by-side rifle/shotgun combination barrel of fine Damascus steel with eight-groove rifled bore in 15 mm calibre with patent breechblock and silver front sight. The rifle/shotgun barrel with iron rear sight and forward set trigger for the rifled barrel. On the midribs the gold signature "STOERMER. HERZBERG". Percussion locks finely etched with flowers and hunting motifs, with foldable spacers and repeated signature. Chequered walnut half stock with silver nose cap and iron furniture finely engraved with hunting motifs and ornaments. On the silver escutcheon engraved ducal hat over lion. Barrel length 83 and 78.5 cm, respectively. Associated wooden ramrod with brass tip mounted under both double barrels. Length of barrels 83 and 78.5 cm. In associated, velvet lined beechwood(?) case, the maker's logo "E. A. STÖRMER HERZBERG" glued to the interior of the lid. Dimensions 86.5 x 26 x 9 cm.
