Description: Side-by-side Damascus barrels in 17 mm calibre with patent breechblock. The mid rib is inscribed "BRESCIA". On the underside of the barrel stamped signature ""G. Micheloni". Brass front sight. The tang is cut in floral designs. Back action locks are decorated en suite. Walnut stock with fluted butt. Silver and nickel silver furniture in elaborate relief. Hinged-lid cap box with the lid being a tiny clam shell. Italy, Brescia circa 1850, lehgth 32,5 cm. Giovanni Micheloni is known in Milano, during the period 1800-1865, condition 2
