A FEDERAL MAHOGANY AND GILTWOOD EGLOMISE BANJO CLOCK, Boston, Massachusetts, circa 1815. The gilded acorn finial above a convex glass with brass bezel opening to an enameled dial with Roman chapter ring inscribed Aaron Willard, Boston" above a trapezoidal eglomise panel decorated with foliate scrolls, an eagle, a shield, and three reserves with gold stars on a red and a blue ground in a gilt rope-twisted frame flanked by pierced scrolled open brass spandrels over a rectangular eglomise panel centering a naval battle with a spread-wing eagle above a shield and a reserve with gold lettering "Hull" on a red ground enclosed in a gilt rope-twist surround with a spherule mounted fluted acorn pendant below - 41 in. x 10 in. "
