Description: the blued-steel axe-head of crescent form, profusely inlaid with fine gold scrolling foliate designs and leafy borders, the wooden handle set with silver quatrefoil heads on two sides, the blued-steel terminal with bud finial and ensuite gold inlaid decoration

Condition Report: In fairly good condition, the blued steel very bright, with some rubbing resulting in slight losses to colour, patches of oxidisation, particularly to terminal and mount on handle, the wooden handle with some light scratches, as viewed.
