Description: dating: 19th Century
provenance: China
Moulded as the Qilin, mythological animal, sit and turned toward the right, covered with a red enamel with blue/violet spots under its belly and on the paws; the belly features a hole with a pierced cylinder at the inside; the eyes are made of blue glass; wooden base carved in the shape of stones and clouds. Small missing parts at the enamel, on the back.
