A fine exhibition standard 7 ¼ inch gauge model of London, Midland and Scottish Railway Coronation Class 7P 4-6-2 tender locomotive 'Duchess of Abercorn', 6234, built by the late Mr John Adams of Poole, with a brazed copper super-heated boiler with all normal fittings including quadruple safety valves, swivelling regulator, blower, whistle, brake, injector and blow-down valves, incorporating full external detailing, fine cab fittings include geared reverse gear with indicator and locking lever, hand lever-operated sliding firebox doors, operational drain-cocks and ejector levers, pressure gauges,
twin water sight gauges, and wooden planked floor with scale checker-plate, the chassis with twin outside cylinders fitted with Walschaerts valve gear and two inside cylinders, scale twin ratchet lubricators, brass lubrication boxes, drain-cocks, sanding gear, working steam brakes, cast leaf springs and beautifully finished wheels, fluted motion, exceptional external detailing including wash out plugs and doors, lamp brackets, name-board brackets and vacuum connectors (locomotive not fitted with smoke deflector plates), the tender details including 4000 gallon Type II plaque, hand-brake, water pick-up controls and scoop, water valves, steam-driven mechanical coal pusher with cylinder guides, exhaust condenser with condensate return to tender water space, lifting eyes and hand feed pump, finished in lined maroon livery, 290cm long, the cab 35.5cm wide.
