A fine flintlock pistol, dating: circa 1700
provenance: North Italy
Smooth, three-stage, 14 mm cal. barrel, marked "MAEEO FRANCINO" at the breech; flintlock chiselled with high -and-bas-relieved floral motifs; briarwood full stock (small restorations) with iron mounts decorated en suite. Horn-tipped wooden ramrod.
