A fine flintlock snaphaunce pistol, dating: 18th Century

Smooth, two-stage, 12 mm cal. barrel, with rings at the base and slight, floral engravings; engraved tang; beautiful lock engraved with floral motifs and chiselled with bas-relieved masks, sliding pan cover; sculpted full stock, iron mounts engraved en suite, counter-plate pierced with effigy of bust; belt hook missing.
